Dr. Anthony Pignataro started as an aspiring doctor but ended up becoming an illegal glow in the medical community. Despite inventing the eyebrow-raising Snap-On toupee (we'd call that a scandalous scalp), his career took a fatal turn when a patient died during surgery, revealing he wasn't even licensed.

A $5,000 fine and a short jail stint didn't deter his misdeeds as this smooth criminal later intentionally poisoned his wife (sounds a lot like Diane Staudte).
